SECRET ISLAY

The smallest release of Outturn II is this unnamable 10 Year Old Secret Islay. Distilled in the South-East of Islay, it’s a heavily peated Single Malt that we’ve finished for 12 months in a refil Oloroso Sherry cask.

120 bottles, released at 55.6% natural cask strength.

“Dried tobacco, brine, smoked kippers, raisins and figs; bresaola, earthy and long finish. Spice and a more-ish whiff of Elastoplast, rubber and oil. Harmonious old-school Islay from Laphroaig's neighbour-who-must-not-be-named.“
